Lawn Bowls Cruise Tour of New Zealand

The intended itinerary (not in port order) for the Bowls Cruise around New Zealand is as follows:

Port Visit: Dunedin - Pick up from ship by coach, shortly after our arrival at 8am, which will take us on a sightseeing tour around the area, including Signal Hill and the Octagon, then to the Dunedin Indoor Bowls Stadium. There we will have lunch, fellowship, followed by a game of bowls. The coach will return us to the ship, prior to sailing at 6pm.

Port Visit: Christchurch - Pick up from ship by coach, at 8am (ship arrives at 7am), which will take us on a sightseeing tour around the area, then to the Burnside Bowls Club. There we will have lunch, fellowship, followed by a game of bowls. The coach will return us to the ship, prior to sailing at 5pm.

Port Visit: Wellington - Pick up from ship by coach, shortly after our arrival at 8:00am, which will take us on a sightseeing tour around the area, including the Rose Gardens and Cable Car and Mt Victoria, then to the Wilton Bowls Club. There we will have lunch, fellowship, followed by a game of bowls. The coach will return us to the ship, prior to sailing at 6:00pm.

Port Visit: Napier - Ship arrives at 08:00am. Pick up from ship by coach around shortly after our arrival, then some sight seeing around Napier, 0n our way to the Napier bowls club, We will be playing two round the first amongst our selves for 11-12am. then with the locals from 1-3pm The bus will return us to the ship around 2:45pm, as ship sails a 5:00pm
No Visit to Tauranga 2025

Port Visit: Tauranga - Leaving by coach at shortly after our arrival at 9:00 am, will take us on a short tour around the area, arriving at the Mount Maunganui Bowls Club around 11:30am. Fellowship, followed by a game of bowls. The coach will return us to the ship around 4pm. The ship sails for Napier at 5:30pm.

Port Visit: Auckland - Pick up from ship by coach, around 8:00am, which will take us on a sightseeing tour around the area, including Auckland Harbour Bridge, Mission Bay, and The Domain, then to the Carlton Cornwall Bowls Club. There we will have lunch, fellowship, followed by a game of bowls. The coach will return us to the ship around 4:30pm The ship sails for Napier at 10pm.
Costs: The Bowls tours will be limited to 48 people including players and non-players. Package will include transport to and from the ship, sightseeing, lunch and bowls. The cost for the bowls package will be A$495 for bowlers A$475 for non-bowlers. This amount to be paid to Cruise Holidays in conjunction with your cruise fare. Prices are subject to change, currency exchange and fuel costs etc.
Tour Organiser: The tour is being arranged by Phil Blank. Originally from New Zealand, and a member of the Kallangur Memorial Bowls Club. Has been playing Bowls for over 32 years, is a former national coach, and umpire.

Please also note that any Princess Cruises past passengers may be eligible for a past passenger discount. Passengers should mention that they are Past Passengers at the time of booking. Any Australian / New Zealand ex-service personal with proof of service are eligible for a $250 on board credit from Princess cruises, mention this when booking.
